It’s a shame that we only planned two nights at playa — will come back for a longer stay! The house is a special piece of art. Each room is designed ingeniously and each piece of furniture is a special art piece. The rooms are very clean, equipped with all facilities you’ll need. The place is in a good locations close to many good restaurants and bars, and yet surprisingly quiet. Apart from the hotel, Fabri, the host, is a gem himself. He not only take care of our stay, but takes care of EVERYTHING. From airport pick up (at two different terminals even), recommendation for car rentals, for restaurants, for day trip recommendations, the lift to the ferry… with his knowledge he helped us arrange literally everything (he always gives a large range of options for everything and so at no time do we feel like he forces our hands for his benefits, all of his advices are 100% sincerr) Because of Fabri, we had a brain-dead vacation and a fantastic holiday. Fabrizio created a little paradise where all the details make your stay comfortable and nice. The rooms are great, the place is quiet and you feel home. Fabrizio is an expert in the area. Cancun, Playa del Carmen or Tulum is always the first doubt we have when we come to Quintana Roo. Ok we’ve decided to be in Playa del Carmen and we had the right decision because we had the opportunity to met Fabrizio and Valentina, the owners of this wonderful place, a mix of Hotel, House but first of all, one of the most hospitality spots we have been for a while. Each room have a personalized decoration with some pieces of art and wonderful care (btw thank you guys for the upgrade to a wonderful suite). The localization is awesome and when you decide to rest, come on, there is no noise which is really difficult at PdC. There is a secret, you can drink wonderful Italian wines as you want, please don’t bankrupt these guys, because we need to come here more and more. Are you thinking about, come on, book it and let everything in Fabrizio and Valentina hands. It’s clean, has amazing art pieces and you can feel the love to detail. The gem of the house is definitely its owner Fabrizio. He is always available and goes above and beyond to make sure that one has the best time. He recommended great restaurants to us and gave us tips on excursions and checked in with us every day! There is free and delicious red wine for the guests and after Fabri noticed that we like to drink beer, he even filled the fridge for everyone with beer. Another plus was the filtered water, so we never had to buy water and just refilled our bottles. The concept that casarte is your home away from home definitely works. It doesn’t have the typical hotel vibe but rather feels like a vacation home. Our room was very spacious and clean, and the interior of the whole place is just exceptional. Fabri is a delightful host, who became a friend by the end of our short stay. Not only did he make sure that all our needs were met at all times, but he went out of his way to help us organize our stay, get to know Playa del Carmen and get around. He even helped our friends who stayed at another hotel get a transfer to the airport. We had the best time and were only disappointed that we had to leave so soon.
